Central Missouri Community Action is dedicated to working with low-income individuals and families as they develop the skills and resources necessary to move towards self-sufficiency. Each year, CMCA helps thousands of families in Mid-Missouri through programs like Head Start, Foster Grandparents, Family Support, and a variety of life-skills and financial development initiatives.
CMCA is also dedicated to offering volunteers opportunities to work within their communities, engage in meaningful service, and connect with others to create change in central Missouri. Regardless of who you are, what you want to do, where you want to do it, or for how long, CMCA welcomes the skills and service that you have to offer. We know that it will take the whole community to eradicate poverty and we're excited to work with you towards envisioning communities in which all individuals have opportunities and resources.
